The cade or juniper handle on this Laguiole Waiter’s Corkscrew is made from Provencal or Mediterranean area. Well known for its aromatic smell, it has been burning wood or powder in many country. Its berries are used to make gin, or to flavor sauerkraut. It is a very pretty typically with alternating light and dark patches in which a concentration of sap leaves its particular smell.
